Undergraduate

BACHELOR OF ARTS (HONS)  DEGREES

We are delighted to to be  partnering with both Staffordshire University and the University of Gloucestershire, offering the following courses:

  • Staffordshire  University validated Courses (Part-time study routes available)
BA in Children & Family Work and Practical Theology
BA in Schools, Youth & Community Work and Practical Theology (JNC endorsed - subject to confirmation)
BA in Young People, Communities and Practical Theology
  • University of  Gloucestershire validated Courses
BA in  Youth & Community Work and Practical Theology (JNC endorsed - subject to  confirmation)

Our courses are exciting and challenging, combining academic study with practical work in equal measure. You will be taught by leading thinkers and practitioners at our Regional Delivery Centres, as well as receive support through one-to-one tuition and peer group  activities. In addition, all students are based in a Professional Practice Agency either where you are currently, so there is no need to move location  unless you want to, or at a location recommended through one of our Regional  Delivery Centres.

As well as specialising, students cover many core topics; 'Biblical Theology', 'Human Development',  'Ethics and Values', 'Management', 'Faith and Justice', 'Ministry and Leadership', and much more. There is also an opportunity to explore a particular passion through the writing of a Dissertation.

Graduates are often employed by churches, Christian children & family or youth work agencies and  organisations, Local Authorities, ELBs, Connexions Service or charities. Your degree, and if endorsed, JNC qualification, will equip you for a wide variety of exciting and creative ministry opportunities in the future.
